The piece features a hand sculpted, painted and collaged male torso, with 4 sowing pins protruding down the sternum. The torso is “bound” with chocolate brown thread, to a mini canvas at the hips, armpits, and neck, and dried bearberry sprouts from the neck. Collage on the torso reads: “he has learned that growth comes from leaning into being simultaneously humbled and inspired”
The canvas measures 4 x 2” while the entire piece (including the sprouts from the neck) measures approximately 10 x 2”
